Welder/Mechanic

Applicant must pass pre-employment drug screening. The job entails installing, maintaining, transferring, dismantling, and repairing equipment and machinery that is used in various industries. Candidates should have or be willing to obtain safety certifications, such as MSHA training, which is provided. Jobs are in various locations, such as but not limited to mine sites, concrete plants, asphalt plants, and other industrial sites. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to safety protocols and details, a strong working knowledge of industrial maintenance, stick welding, rigging, power and hand tools, be comfortable with heights, be able to lift 100lbs, be able to make decisions, troubleshoot, and perform repairs in a timely manner with little to no supervision after the training period. Ability to work independently and as part of the team. Candidate must be prompt, have reliable transportation, and a clean/clear driving record. The job begins as temporary and can become permanent full-time, depending on ability and performance. Overtime and travel are sometimes required; lodging and per diem are paid. This is mostly outdoor work. Pay is based on experience and ability.
