Welder/Semi-Trailer Repair Technician

Truck-Thermo King, Inc. is a locally owned business and has been serving the trucking industry for over 55 years. We are an authorized Thermo King dealer and we offer full trailer repair service as well.

We are currently seeking a Welder/Semi-Trailer Mechanic for our shop that has at least 1 year of trailer maintenance experience including but not limited to: body repairs, brakes, drums, slacks, cams, brake chambers, air bags, etc. As a semi trailer mechanic, you will be integral to the maintenance and repair of semi-trailer vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be able to measure, cut, and weld on semi-trailers. Must be energetic and motivated. This position would need to meet time constraints. The candidate should have their own tools. Top pay for ideal candidate. You are welcome to stop by our shop in Mt Crawford to complete an application in person, if preferred.

Duties will include:

• Preventative maintenance and repair of all systems of semi-trailers to meet the standards set forth by DOT including removal and repair of brakes, brake drums, hubs, seals, bearings and associated parts
• Repair of electrical and lighting systems
• Repair or replacement of chassis components such as springs, spring hangers, equalizers, complete slider assemblies, axles, and sub frames and maintenance and repair of roofs, panels, nose panels, lower and upper rails

Requirements:

• At least one year of experience in welding/semi-trailer repair

Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug test.

Schedule: Day Shift, Monday through Friday, no weekends
