Welding Apprentice
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting experienced welders and fabricators in the production of steel reinforcement and components used in precast concrete products
- Learning a variety of welding techniques and fabrication skills
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Preparing materials for welding and fabrication
- Maintaining welding equipment and ensuring safe working practices

Supporting the team to meet production targets while maintaining quality standards
- A strong interest in welding, fabrication, or engineering trades
- Willingness to learn and develop practical skills
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English are desirable

Commitment to completing a welding apprenticeship programme
- A structured apprenticeship with both practical and college-based learning
- On-the-job training with experienced welders and fabricators
