Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring high-quality standards are met.

Duties

• Perform MIG, FCAW welding on various materials including sheet metal, square/ round tubing.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to fabricate components according to design requirements.
• Conduct quality inspections of completed welds to ensure compliance with ASME codes and standards.
• Operate cranes and forklifts safely to move materials around the construction site or manufacturing facility.
• Engage in rigging practices for lifting heavy components during assembly or fabrication processes.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and basic math skills for precise measurements during fabrication tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Experience

• Proven experience in welding within a construction or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with mechanical knowledge and machining processes is advantageous.
• Experience with metal cutting/fitting
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated to complete tasks independently.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
