Summary:
This position will facilitate opportunities for participants to succeed in their journey to sobriety and wellness. This position’s responsibilities include all aspects of case management for Wellness Court participants. Works with participants to improve the effectiveness of the Wellness Court by offering support for positive outcomes. This position is contingent upon funding allocations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the Wellness Court.
- Serve as the liaison for the Wellness Court Team including taking a lead role at staff meetings, disseminating program information from all treatment providers, probation officers, prosecutors, defense attorneys, law enforcement officers, and the judge.
- Prepare weekly court rosters and agendas for staffing and meet with each participant as required by their phase requirements and aftercare.
- Track referral eligibility and report to the Wellness Court Team.
- Track participant progress, data collection, data dissemination, and maintain all spreadsheets accurately and timely.
- Obtain necessary information from treatment providers and coordinating agencies for the maintenance of accurate, up-to-date records.
- Network with other agencies to provide maximum access and use of available programs to better serve the population and assist in conducting outreach services.
- Monitor program goals and objectives to ensure compliance with the mission statement and continue to review goals and objectives with the team to identify and implement revisions.
- Conduct program orientation with all participants.
- Report all non-compliance issues to respective Wellness Court Team.
- Print sanction histories in preparation of termination proceedings; attend all termination hearings and update treatment court team.
- Must work respectfully with all participants of the Wellness Court.
- Oversee the graduation process regarding client eligibility, scheduling and attending exit interviews.
- Coordinate observed UA tests on program participants as ordered by the Wellness Court. UA collections may be performed on weekends.
- Maintain confidentiality of records, secure appropriate releases from participants as necessary to provide and coordinate case management and program services.
- Complete routine office tasks such as maintaining and updating case files.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as needed.
- Prepare truthful, accurate and timely written reports concerning participants in the Wellness Court.
- Comply with grant reporting requirements and timely submission of reports.
- Collect and perform analysis of data needed to evaluate the success of the program.
- Provide necessary information to treatment providers and coordinating agencies regarding assessment results and referrals.
- Review resources, including transportation, available to program participants and assist participants seeking new resources consistent with their individual treatment plan.
- Arrange for interpretive services as needed.
- Take actions consistent with each individual treatment plan and court orders.
- In conjunction with the Court Administrator, monitor the Wellness Court budget.
- Maintain strict department security, confidentiality, and quality to meet professional standards of the Wellness Court.

- Coordinator must perform duties without extensive supervision. Work is assigned in general terms, requiring the coordinator to determine the process by which the work should be completed.
- Knowledge of and skills with general office equipment, computers, and applications to include Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
- Possess an acute attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations.
- Knowledgeable of Oneida Nation laws and court processes.
- Knowledgeable of Oneida culture, kinship and other Oneida Nation accepted beliefs and lifeways.
- Possess organizational management skills, including planning, organizing, and scheduling priorities efficiently and effectively.
- Possess a strong sense of focus, be task-oriented and impartial.
- Ability to work in a variety of settings with culturally diverse families and communities with the ability to be culturally sensitive and appropriate.
- Must have knowledge of community resources for recovery of addictions.
- Must attend team meetings of the Wellness Court.

Experience:
Essential:
One (1) year working in a treatment setting or with a treatment court for AODA clients, in a position that required daily contact, monitoring/coordination with clients
Nonessential:
- Two years experience with a treatment court.
- Three (3) years working in a treatment setting with AODA clients that include daily contact, monitoring/coordination with clients.
