We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Wellness Director. The Wellness Director oversees the overall care and well-being of residents in the senior living community. This role is responsible for managing the health services team, ensuring quality care standards, compliance with state regulations, and promoting a wellness-focused environment that supports resident independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Essential Duties:
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of resident care services.
- Manage the wellness team including nurses, aides, and care associates, ensuring proper staffing, training, and performance.
- Conduct health assessments for new residents and create individualized care plans.
- Monitor resident health status and care needs, making updates to care plans as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, families, and other healthcare providers.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and community policies.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
- Lead regular care plan reviews and participate in resident/family care conferences.
- Develop and implement wellness programs and initiatives to promote healthy aging.
- Provide training, coaching, and development for care staff.
- Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and medical professionals.
Work Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a healthcare setting; senior living or geriatric experience preferred.
- Prior management or supervisory experience required.
- Strong knowledge of state regulations for assisted living or memory care.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
