Wellness Health Coach

Health N Wellness RX is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and client-focused Health Coach to join our growing wellness team. In this role, you will work closely with clients to support their health goals through personalized coaching, lifestyle modifications, and ongoing accountability. You will play a key role in helping individuals improve their overall well-being by addressing nutrition, fitness, stress management, and preventive health practices.

As a Health Coach at Health N Wellness RX, you will collaborate with medical professionals and wellness specialists to deliver holistic, patient-centered care. This position is ideal for someone who is empathetic, results-driven, and committed to helping clients achieve sustainable, long-term health outcomes.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient Coaching & Support

Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions (virtual and/or in-person) to assess client needs and health goals
Develop personalized wellness plans tailored to each client’s lifestyle, preferences, and medical background
Provide ongoing motivation, accountability, and support to help clients stay on track
Track client progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure optimal results
Educate clients on healthy habits, behavior change, and preventive health strategies

Nutrition & Lifestyle Guidance

Provide guidance on balanced nutrition, meal planning, and healthy eating habits
Support clients in developing sustainable exercise and fitness routines
Offer strategies for stress management, sleep improvement, and mental wellness
Educate clients on supplements, hydration, and general wellness practices

Collaboration with Healthcare Team

Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers
Support clients undergoing treatments such as hormone replacement therapy (HRT) or weight management programs
Communicate client progress, concerns, and outcomes to the clinical team
Ensure coaching aligns with medical recommendations and treatment plans

Program Development & Implementation

Assist in creating and improving wellness programs and coaching frameworks
Contribute to the development of educational materials, guides, and resources
Participate in group coaching sessions, workshops, or wellness seminars
Help implement new health initiatives and services

Administrative & Documentation Duties

Maintain accurate and confidential client records
Document coaching sessions, progress notes, and outcomes
Schedule and manage appointments efficiently
Utilize company systems and software for tracking and reporting

Client Engagement & Retention

Build strong, trusting relationships with clients
Encourage long-term engagement and program adherence
Address client concerns and provide solutions promptly
Deliver a high level of customer service and professionalism

Required Qualifications

Certification in Health Coaching, Wellness Coaching, or related field (e.g., NBHWC, ACE, IIN, or equivalent)
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in health-related field preferred)
Proven experience in health coaching, wellness, fitness, or nutrition counseling
Strong knowledge of health, nutrition, and lifestyle management principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to motivate and inspire clients from diverse backgrounds
Strong organizational and time management skills
Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with virtual communication tools

Preferred Skills and Experience

Experience in functional medicine or holistic health practices
Familiarity with hormone therapy, weight management, or preventive care programs
Background in psychology, behavioral science, or counseling
Experience with telehealth or remote coaching platforms
Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
Sales or client retention experience is a plus

Work Environment and Schedule

This role offers flexibility, with options for remote, in-office, or hybrid work depending on business needs. Health Coaches may be required to work evenings or weekends to accommodate client schedules.

The work environment is collaborative and client-centered, with a focus on delivering high-quality wellness services. Coaches should be comfortable managing multiple clients while maintaining a personalized approach.

Health Coaches at Health N Wellness RX are expected to maintain high standards of service and client outcomes. Key performance indicators (KPIs) include:

Client satisfaction and retention rates
Achievement of client health goals and outcomes
Consistency and quality of coaching sessions
Timely and accurate documentation
Contribution to program growth and improvement

Training and Development

Health N Wellness RX provides onboarding and training to ensure success in this role. Training may include:
