We’re Hiring: Exhibition Designer with Project Coordination — Part-Time / Freelance

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Contract: Part-time or freelance — both arrangements considered:

· candidates holding a valid UAE Freelance Permit (issued by DET, TECOM, or another competent authority);

· candidates available for a part-time MOHRE-sponsored contract under UAE Federal Decree-Law 33/2021.

Experience required: Minimum 4 years in exhibitions/events industry
Starting date: Immediate availability preferred

From our Dubai headquarters we deliver exhibition projects across the GCC and run our platform connecting clients, designers, and local fabricators worldwide.

We are looking for a creative, reliable, and proactive Exhibition Designer with on-site project-coordination experience to support our exhibition and event projects on a flexible basis.

Responsibilities

· Develop design concepts, layouts, and 2D/3D drawings for exhibition booths, presentations, and marketing materials

· Assist in preparing quotations and cost breakdowns based on project scope

· Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and affiliates

· Track design revisions, approvals, and project timelines

· Attend and support all phases of stand setup and installation

· Supervise installation to ensure adherence to design specifications

· Perform quality checks on finishes, lighting, AV systems, and on-site safety

· Ensure compliance with fair regulations and venue permits

· Conduct final walkthrough with the client and hand over the stand with checklist and operational instructions

· Maintain accurate project documentation

Qualifications

· Minimum 4 years of experience in exhibition booth setup, event production, or related fields (construction, interior fit-out, site coordination); GCC/Middle East experience preferred

· Proficient in AutoCAD (2D), SketchUp, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), and Microsoft Excel

· Basic understanding of costing and quotation preparation

· Ability to read and interpret floor plans, elevations, and technical drawings

· Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages relevant to the GCC market (Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, or others) are a plus

· Valid UAE driving licence

· Reliable, organised, and proactive both on-site and off-site

Nice to have

· Experience on international trade shows or exhibitions in the Middle East

· Knowledge of sustainable or modular booth design

· Basic budgeting and reporting skills
