Do you have a strong sales instinct, confidence closing high-value purchases, and an eye for beautiful spaces? Sara Carroll Home is looking for a Sales-driven Design Associate to join our showroom team in the Dallas Design District.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a retail environment, loves working face-to-face with clients, and knows how to confidently guide customers from inspiration to decision. Design skills matter — but closing the sale is key.

Who We Are

Sara Carroll Home is a boutique luxury furniture and design studio known for warm, refined interiors that feel personal, collected, and elevated. We work with discerning clients locally and nationally, offering custom furnishings, curated retail pieces, and full interior design services.

Our showroom is active, client-facing, and sales-driven — and we’re looking for someone who can own that energy day in and day out.

The Role

As a Sales & Design Associate, your primary responsibility is driving showroom sales. You’ll engage walk-in clients, uncover their needs, present solutions, and confidently close furniture and décor purchases.

You’ll also support design projects and take on your own decorating projects — but this is first and foremost a retail sales role in a design-forward environment.

You’ll be the face of the showroom, managing client relationships, following up on leads, and ensuring every opportunity is moved forward.

What You’ll Do

  • Greet and engage showroom clients with confidence and professionalism
  • Lead in-store sales conversations and close furniture and décor purchases
  • Guide clients through selections, pricing, and ordering decisions
  • Follow up consistently with leads, quotes, and active opportunities
  • Write orders, manage pricing, and ensure accurate sales documentation
  • Support interior design projects as needed (sourcing, presentations, installs)
  • Maintain strong product knowledge across mid-to-high-end furniture brands
  • Represent the brand with polish, warmth, and strong communication

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in retail sales, ideally furniture or luxury goods
  • Confidence asking for the sale and guiding clients to decisions
  • Comfort discussing pricing, timelines, and next steps
  • Strong follow-up habits and attention to detail
  • Organized, reliable, and comfortable working independently
  • Design knowledge or interior design experience is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with the Dallas design market is a bonus
  • Proficiency in Excel, Design Files, and Canva or similar tools is helpful
