West Coast CNG Service Technician Apprentice - Part Time

Join our dynamic team as a West Coast CNG Service Technician Apprentice - Part Time! This exciting role offers a hands-on opportunity to develop technical skills in compressed natural gas (CNG) systems, pipeline operations, and equipment maintenance. As an apprentice, you will gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Upon formal completion of training, this role will be highly independent and may be required to work long hours depending on time-sensitive operational necessity.

Duties

• Provide mechanical and electrical technical troubleshooting assistance directly to customers to diagnose problems with products or accessories
• Support equipment repair activities, including troubleshooting mechanical issues and performing weekly routine inspections on CNG compressors and fueling stations
• Properly read and use mechanical and electrical schematics to complete repairs and assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing problems
• Keep records of work hours, parts utilized, and work performed for each service call and report all components to manager
• Obtain and provide parts breakdowns to complete repairs
• Inspect warranty parts and determine operational fit-for-duty

Skills

• Basic understanding of electronics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
• Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair and maintenance procedures
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments
• Strong mechanical aptitude with an interest in oil & gas operations and clean energy technology
• Capable of performing heavy lifting and physical tasks required on job sites
• Disciplined, organized, independent worker
• Ability to learn wiring/tubing/structural drawings and specifications
• Willingness to learn new skills related to equipment repair, system diagnostics, and safety protocols

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
