Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Western Dance Teacher to join our team and inspire students of all ages and levels. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in various Western dance styles, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Western dance lessons (e.g., Hip-Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet, Tap, Lyrical, Street, etc.).
  • Develop age-appropriate and skill-level-appropriate choreography and curriculum.
  • Conduct warm-ups, dance technique drills, and structured guided practice.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Prepare students for performances, showcases, exams, and competitions.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and management.
  • Keep up-to-date with current Western dance trends and best teaching practices.
  • Manage class schedules, attendance, and administrative tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience teaching Western dance styles.
  • Strong technical proficiency in at least 2–3 Western dance genres.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with students of various ages and skill levels.
  • Creative and energetic with a passion for dance education.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Formal training in dance or a related field (degree or diploma).
  • Experience in choreography and stage performance.
  • Certification in dance teaching or fitness instruction.

  • Technical Skills: Western dance techniques & choreography.
  • Instructional Skills: Ability to teach, inspire, and adapt teaching methods.
  • Communication: Clear and positive communication with students/parents.
  • Creativity: Innovative choreography and class structure.

Work Environment

  • Dance studio or classroom setting.
  • May include evening or weekend classes based on schedule.
  • Collaborative and performance-oriented team environment.

Performance Goals

  • Demonstrate measurable improvement in student skill and confidence.
  • Successfully organize and execute recitals or performances.
  • Maintain high student satisfaction and retention.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,661.74 - ₹27,101.58 per month
