We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Invoice / Payroll Clerk to join our team in a remote work-from-home role. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, assisting with payroll, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely and accurate payments while maintaining confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy and approval.
  • Prepare, review, and process employee payroll on a scheduled basis.
  • Maintain payroll records and employee payment information.
  • Reconcile invoices, payroll reports, and financial records.
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies by communicating with vendors and internal departments.
  • Calculate wages, overtime, deductions, bonuses, and reimbursements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and payroll regulations.
  • Prepare payroll reports and assist with month-end financial reconciliations.
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and company financial information.
  • Perform general administrative and data entry tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is preferred.
  • Previous experience in payroll, accounts payable, invoicing, or bookkeeping preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and payroll/accounting software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines.
