American Liquidations specializes in selling pallets of liquidation merchandise from major retailers including overstock, shelf pulls, open box, and returned items. These pallets offer incredible value and are resold to the public for business or personal use. From electronics and appliances to tools, furniture, and home goods, our inventory and team is always evolving.

Position Overview: Whatnot Sales Host

We are seeking a Whatnot Sales Host to take the lead in running live sales events and auctions across platforms like Whatnot and eBay Live. This position combines salesmanship, performance, and digital marketing — perfect for someone who enjoys being on camera, building engagement, and driving measurable results.

You will help expand our reach and connect customers nationwide to our constantly changing inventory. You will collaborate closely with the warehouse, operations, and marketing teams to plan, promote, and execute live auctions and sales events that are professional, entertaining, and profitable.

This is a hands-on, fast-moving role that requires a mix of personality, presentation skill, product knowledge, and adaptability in a live broadcast environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Host engaging, high-energy live shows featuring pallets and individual items.
• Interact with viewers, encourage participation, and build repeat followers.
• Showcase products by items with enthusiasm and detail to highlight value and promote bidding.
• Assist with promotional clips, highlights, and social content for upcoming live events.
• Analyze performance by tracking engagement, viewership, and conversion data for ongoing improvement.
• Represent the brand by maintaining professionalism and positive energy.

Must Have

• Comfortable performing live on camera.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Engaging and energetic personality.
• Ability to live stream for an extended period of time.
• Sales or marketing experience with proven results.
• Familiarity with Whatnot, eBay Live, or similar live-commerce platforms.
• Reliable, punctual, and motivated to meet goals.
• A strong work ethic and positive attitude
• A team player mindset — no job is too big or too small

Nice to Have

• Experience in social media content creation or retail promotions.
• Understanding of audience engagement strategies or influencer marketing.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Interest in growing a personal on-camera presence or digital sales career.

Schedule and Availability

• 4-hour shifts available
• Morning and evening shifts
• In person work required at our Bristol, CT location

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $25to $30 per hour (commensurate with experience)
