Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform wheel alignment and balancing on various types of vehicles.
  • Inspect suspension and steering systems for wear or damage.
  • Adjust camber, caster, and toe angles to manufacturer specifications.
  • Operate alignment machines (such as Hunter, John Bean, or Hofmann systems).
  • Check tire pressure, tread depth, and overall tire condition.
  • Diagnose alignment-related issues such as uneven tire wear or pulling.
  • Test drive vehicles to verify correct alignment.
  • Maintain alignment tools and calibration of equipment.
  • Advise customers or supervisors about needed repairs or parts replacement.

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of wheel alignment principles and suspension systems.
  • Experience using computerized alignment equipment.
  • Basic mechanical and diagnostic skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or technical certification in automotive maintenance.
  • 1–3 years of experience as a wheel alignment or tire technician.
