WHNP needed in Brooklyn, NY

About the POSITION:

WHNP is needed for the outpatient clinic in Brooklyn, NY

Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

Office Closed from 12 noon to 1 pm daily

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Treats women during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods:

Cares for mother for a prescribed period of time following childbirth

1. The Nurse Practitioner will work cooperatively with other allied health providers including the nurses, medical team assistants, counselors, social workers, psychologist, psychiatrist, pharmacists, nutritionist and laboratory technologist in providing comprehensive team health care.
2. Evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients with acute illness.
3. Preventive care, consisting of periodic physical examination, immunizations, health education and preventive screening.
