Wild Eagle Steak & Saloon - Server Assistant

Summary: Responsible for assisting servers in main dining room as well as the private dining rooms.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Greets and serves customers in a professional and timely manner.

  • Completes all assigned opening and closing side work to prepare dining room, kitchen, and service stations for efficient operation during meal period.

  • Running food and bussing tables

  • Prepares all condiments to garnish drink orders.
  • Takes food orders and enters them into computer.

  • Applies knowledge of the full menu, daily specials, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, and other restaurant information such as restaurant hours, types of payment, hotel/other outlets marketing, and upselling.

  • Checks and maintains stock of glassware, china, and flatware and communicates shortages to appropriate person.

  • Maintains a clean server station at all times by wiping chairs, table bases, table top, carpet, and details the table with appropriate settings.

  • Assists with answering the telephone and taking messages to give to the proper personnel when time allows.
