Window Assembler

Role Overview

Factory Operators are responsible for manufacturing finished window products to company quality standards in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. While operators may be assigned to specific tasks or stations, all factory personnel are expected to be capable of supporting multiple stages of the production process as needed.

This role requires attention to detail, consistency, teamwork, and pride in workmanship.

Core Responsibilities

Manufacturing & Production

  • Measure, cut, and prepare vinyl and related materials according to specifications
  • Weld window frames and sashes accurately and consistently
  • Assemble finished window products to company quality standards
  • Install hardware, glazing, and components as required
  • Verify measurements, alignment, and fit throughout the build process

Quality Control

  • Inspect work at each stage of production to ensure quality standards are met
  • Identify defects, inconsistencies, or potential issues and correct them promptly
  • Flag recurring quality concerns or material issues to supervision or management
  • Maintain clean, professional finished products ready for customer delivery or installation

Timeliness & Productivity

  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining quality expectations
  • Meet production timelines and daily output goals
  • Work collaboratively with teammates to avoid bottlenecks or delays
  • Communicate early if issues arise that may impact deadlines

Safety & Facility Standards

  • Follow all safety procedures, equipment guidelines, and shop rules
  • Use tools and machinery responsibly and report equipment issues immediately
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Participate in safety improvements and best practices

Team & General Duties

Factory Operators are expected to contribute to the overall success of the operation. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Assisting with other production tasks when needed
  • Supporting workflow changes or process improvements
  • Helping keep the factory organized, stocked, and running efficiently
  • Performing other reasonable duties required to keep the business operating smoothly

Professional Conduct & Accountability

Factory Operators are expected to show up on time, ready to work, and prepared to contribute positively to the team. Reliability, cooperation, and a strong work ethic are essential to this role.

Mistakes, quality concerns, or production issues must be communicated promptly so they can be addressed before impacting customers or schedules.

Additional Responsibilities

The responsibilities outlined above are representative of the role but are not exhaustive. Factory Operators may be asked to perform additional related duties as business needs evolve.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
