Window Covering Installer

1. Assist loading materials into van for the assigned installs per day.
2. Update CompanyCam after each install with notes and pictures
3. Communicate with Account Managers and CSR if questions or issues arise in the field during install.
4. Measures pertinent features of every installation area to ensure best fit.
5. Treating surrounding surfaces to ensure their appropriateness for installation.
6. Fitting blinds traditional and motorized, shutters, and similar coverings at installation site.
7. Replacing components of clients' window coverings, if required for warranty or repair.
8. Operate company vehicle in safe and professional manner, abiding by all traffic laws at all times.
9. Pull inventory and stage all orders for delivery or pick-up in a courteous and timely manner
10. Receive materials from delivery trucks and installer returns, and process paperwork
11. Organize workflow to meet customer deadlines.
12. Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory through the receiving process, order pulling and order check-out
13. Support team members through service and flexibility
14. Become knowledgeable on all material
15. Assist in deliveries as instructed and scheduled by the Warehouse Supervisor (WS)
16. Organize and re-stock inventory to maximize order pulling efficiency
17. Perform cycle counts in coordination with WS and purchasing, in a timely manner
18. Work with team members to modify inventory item (handrail, blinds) and process corresponding paperwork
19. Report any discrepancies or issues with our product to WS
20. Become knowledgeable on safety rail installation for back-up purposes.
21. Operate a forklift and pallet jack

22. Communicate effectively with the WS, the Sales Team, and install crews, informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that sales and customer objectives are met.

23. Support Blinds’ Team members through service, education, and effective problem solving.
24. Quality check blinds installations, as needed
25. Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience:

• Construction Experience: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required) Must be 25 years old required by insurance
• Good driving record required
• OSHA certified is a plus
