Job Summary:
The Window Cradle Electrician is responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems associated with window cradles (suspended platforms) used in high-rise building façade works. The role ensures the safe and efficient functioning of all electrical components of the cradle systems in compliance with safety standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, and maintain electrical wiring, motors, control panels, and other components of window cradle systems.
- Perform regular testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure proper operation.
- Coordinate with mechanical and rigging teams to ensure cradle systems operate safely and efficiently.
- Monitor and maintain electrical safety devices, circuit breakers, and emergency stop systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and company procedures.
- Respond promptly to electrical faults or malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs performed.
- Support erection, dismantling, and relocation of cradles from an electrical perspective in coordination with the site team.
- Report any safety hazards, incidents, or potential issues to the site supervisor immediately.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in high-rise construction or façade maintenance operations.
- Familiarity with window cradle systems, suspended platforms, and their electrical components is highly desirable.
