Window Treatment Installer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window Treatment Installer to join our construction and remodeling team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of construction, including fabrication, installation, and finishing work. This role involves installing window coverings, blinds, shades, and other related fixtures in residential and commercial settings. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and blueprint reading, ensuring precise and efficient installations that meet client specifications and safety standards.

Duties

• Install a variety of window treatments such as blinds, shades, drapes, and custom coverings with accuracy and attention to detail
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions to ensure proper placement and fit
• Use hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, and fabrication equipment to prepare and execute installations
• Perform carpentry tasks including trim carpentry, framing, door hanging, cabinet installation, and fixture mounting as needed
• Conduct metal stud framing or drywall work for custom window treatments or related structures
• Measure spaces accurately for fabrication and installation purposes
• Perform remodeling tasks such as construction painting, remodeling finishes, or light demolition when required
• Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations and company standards
• Assist with site preparation, heavy lifting of materials or fixtures, and clean-up after project completion

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, fabrication, or remodeling projects
• Familiarity with hand tools such as saws, drills, screwdrivers; power tools including grinders or sanders; and metal stud framing equipment
• Experience with glass installation, fixture installation (lighting or hardware), cabinet mounting, door hanging, or trim carpentry is highly desirable
• Knowledge of schematics and technical drawings for precise installation planning
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a construction environment
• Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and building codes
• Maintenance Person experience or general construction background preferred
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to different project requirements
• Valid driver’s license is a plus for travel between job sites

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
