Duties

• Greet guests warmly and assist with wine selections to enhance their experience
• Take accurate orders for wine, beers, and food while maintaining attention to detail
• Serve beverages promptly and responsibly, ensuring proper presentation and quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, glassware, and service stations in accordance with food safety regulations
• Upsell premium wines and menu items to maximize sales opportunities while providing honest recommendations
• Manage POS systems for order processing and cash handling with precision
• Operate as kitchen staff and bartender to ensure guest satisfaction
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting stations, and supporting other team members as needed in a fast-paced environment
• Uphold all food handling, sanitation standards, and safety protocols to ensure a safe dining experience for guests

Skills

• Proven experience in upscale food service with strong guest relations skills
• Knowledge or interest in learning wine varieties, tasting notes, and proper serving techniques; culinary experience is a plus
• Proficiency with POS systems
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple guest smoothly during busy hours
• Strong sales ability with upselling skills to promote premium products confidently
• Experience in food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations within the food industry
• Ability to work effectively in a nightclub or bustling restaurant setting while maintaining professionalism
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management
• Exceptional customer service skills focused on creating memorable guest experiences in a hospitality environment
