WINTER ADR Class 2 rigid fuel tanker driver

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable hard working Class 2 ADR Driver to join our team delivering fuel across domestic, agricultural, commercial, and retail forecourt customers. This role would particularly suit someone looking for seasonal winter work, starting October/November to finish around March / April.

We are ideally looking to work with someone who is comfortable working for two or more companies throughout the year and values flexibility and seasonal employment patterns. No previous fuel delivery experience is required — full training will be provided for the right candidate. Pay & Benefits

• £18.00 per hour
• £25.00 per hour overtime rate
• £3.80 per day tax-free meal allowance
• Expected earnings including overtime: £37,400 – £49,000 per year

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Typical shifts: 10–11 hours per day
• Typical start time: 06:30
• Basic hours: 8 hours per day
• Overtime paid daily after 8 hours
• Saturday mornings worked on a winter rota basis (approximately 1 in 4)
• Occasional additional Saturdays available

Contract Type Seasonal Full-Time – approximately 6 months
(1 October to mid-April)Duties Include Delivering fuel to:

• Domestic properties
• Farms
• Commercial businesses
• Petrol stations

Additional responsibilities include:

• Completing between 2 and 25 deliveries per day depending on season and workload
• Operating safely as a lone worker
• Providing excellent customer service at all times
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety compliance

Requirements

• HGV Class 2 licence
• ADR Tanks qualification with Class 3 (preferred but can discuss options)
• Driver CPC
• Experience with HGV manual Gearboxes (preferred)
• Minimum 1 year HGV driving experience
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills
• Positive attitude towards safety and compliance
• Must live within commuting distance of Otley Town Centre
• Right to work in the UK
• 3 years general driving experience (preferred)

A PDP certificate is required for terminal loading; however, this is arranged and provided by the company for all drivers ongoing.
