India Child Protection (ICP), established in 2005, is a leading child rights protection organisation dedicated to combatting child sexual abuse (CSA) and related crimes, including child trafficking, exploitation of children in the digital space, and child marriage.
Through its ground-breaking programmes and multi-pronged approach, ICP works to create a child protection ecosystem that prevents crimes against children, fights for justice for survivors and their families, strengthens the child protection mechanism, and promotes children’s rights in India. Winter Internship (Four to Eight weeks offline internship programme)
Location: Delhi
Eligibility & selection criteria will be as follows:
1. Students who have completed 1st year and are pursuing 2nd or 3rd year of LLB-3 years courses;
2. Students who have completed 3 years OR Semester VI of the Integrated 5 Year Law course etc. and pursuing 4th and 5th years;
3. Students pursuing L.L.M. Course;
4. Students pursuing PG Diploma in Human Rights, MA in Human Rights, PG students of Political Science, Sociology, Social Work (MSW), Criminology, Public Administration Rural Development, History, Economics, Commerce, Anthropology, Mass Communication, and any of the discipline of Social Sciences would be considered with preference to students pursuing their final year;
5. A 300-500 words write-up (in online form) on the topic “Reason for joining as Intern in India Child Protection” will be required to be submitted by the applicants which would also be considered as a Statement of Purpose (SOP), along with the online application which will also serve as a basis of selection.
Job Role:
Interns will assist in research, documentation, content creation, campaign management, social media, stakeholder coordination, and database management. Excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in development sector in Campaigns.
