Wix Website Designer

Overview
We are seeking a talented Wix Website Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in digital and web design, with expertise in creating visually compelling, user-friendly websites on the Wix platform. This role involves translating client needs into engaging web experiences, utilizing a broad skill set that includes graphic design, interaction design, and front-end development. The Wix Website Designer will play a key role in developing responsive websites that align with brand identity and optimize user engagement.

Duties

• Design and develop visually appealing websites using Wix, incorporating best practices in UI/UX and responsive web design
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to present design concepts and gather client feedback
• Implement motion graphics, animations, and interactive elements to enhance user engagement
• Develop and optimize e-commerce features, including product pages and checkout processes
• Design logos, icons, and other branding elements to ensure cohesive visual identity across platforms
• Conduct usability testing and user research to improve website functionality and accessibility
• Maintain and update existing websites, ensuring they adhere to current SEO standards and web accessibility guidelines
• Collaborate with content creators, developers, and marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of content management systems like WordPress or Drupal
• Utilize analytics tools such as Google Analytics to monitor website performance and inform design improvements
• Manage website maintenance tasks including updates, security patches, and performance optimization using tools like Adobe Dreamweaver or InVision

Requirements

• Proven experience in web design with a strong portfolio showcasing Wix websites or similar platforms
• Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Bootstrap, Angular, React, Node.js, Redux, AJAX, SCSS/SASS/LESS stylesheets for front-end development
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics 360 and Adobe Analytics
• Experience with content management systems like WordPress or Drupal is preferred
• Strong data analysis skills for interpreting user behavior metrics to enhance website effectiveness
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects independently
• Excellent communication skills to articulate design concepts clearly to clients and stakeholders
