Women's Health Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to join our premier healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive women's health services. Duties

• Preventive Care: Perform well-woman exams, breast and pelvic exams, pap smears, and diagnostic screenings for cervical, ovarian, and breast cancers.
• Gynecological Care: Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic gynecological conditions, STIs, endometriosis, and pelvic pain.
• Obstetrical Care: Manage pre-conception counseling, prenatal visits, and postpartum care.
• Reproductive Health: Counsel patients on birth control options, fertility, and reproductive health choices.
• Menopause Support: Provide education, hormone treatment consultations, and symptom management for perimenopause and menopause.
• Clinical Procedures: Perform office-based procedures such as IUD insertions/removals, subdermal insertions/removals, and vulvar biopsies.
• Administration: Completes medical charts after each visit according to the problem-oriented medical records system.
• Patient Education & Counseling: Educate patients on sexual health, lifestyle, and wellness, while also screening for mental health, substance abuse, and domestic violence.

Degree & Licensing Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a Nurse Practitioner specialty track
• National Board Certification as: Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Active Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the state of Texas
• Eligibility for prescriptive authority in Texas
• Current BLS/CPR certification

Pay: From $50.00 per hour
