Women's Health Practitioner

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Women's Health Practitioner to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing specialised care and support to women across a range of health concerns, with an emphasis on compassionate patient interaction and clinical excellence. The successful candidate must be able to take smear tests and perform contraceptive IUD insertion and removal, Contraceptive implant insertion and removal. A strong background in clinical settings, laboratory procedures, and specialised women's health practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of women's health, including medical history reviews and physical examinations
• Perform clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, IUD insertion/ removal, Implant insertion/ removal and smear tests. This requires laboratory sample collection with strict adherence to aseptic techniques
• Maintain accurate documentation of all patient interactions and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with clinic protocols, safety standards, and infection control measures

Qualifications

• Proven experience working within clinic environments, preferably in women’s health or related fields
• Training certificate
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, particularly relating to female reproductive health
• Certification or training in basic life support (BLS) and Safeguarding Adults is required
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and patient care documentation

Pay: £13.00-£50.00 per hour
