Job Title: PHP/WordPress Developer (WordPress Backend)

Job Type: Hybrid (Surat), Remote

Experience: 2-5 Years

Note: English communication is a must.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge of WordPress core, WooCommerce, and custom plugin development.
• Must be able to develop, customize, and optimize plugins and themes (backend-focused).
• Experience in creating and integrating REST APIs / third-party APIs.
• Solid understanding of PHP (OOP), MySQL, and database optimization.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub/GitLab for version control.
• Understanding of WordPress hooks, filters, actions, and shortcodes.
• Experience in security best practices, performance tuning, and scalability.
• Familiarity with Linux server, cPanel, or SSH is a plus.
• Exposure to AWS / cloud hosting environments will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of other PHP frameworks (Laravel/CodeIgniter) is considered an advantage.

Skills Required:

• Strong expertise in WordPress backend development.
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, REST APIs, and server-side logic.
• Ability to write clean, reusable, and efficient code.
• Strong understanding of database structures and queries.
• The capability to handle projects independently from start to finish.
• Good communication skills for project discussions with the team/clients.
• Strong initiative to suggest and implement improvements in code and systems..

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
