Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain WordPress-based websites and web applications.
• Customize existing themes and plugins according to client requirements.
• Develop custom WordPress themes, plugins, and functionalities using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility across devices.
• Integrate third-party APIs and plugins to extend site functionality.
• Optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and backend developers to deliver cohesive digital experiences.
• Maintain and update WordPress core, themes, and plugins regularly for security and stability.
• Stay updated with emerging WordPress trends, tools, and technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3–4 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, etc.).
• Familiarity with REST APIs and WooCommerce integration.
• Solid understanding of website optimization, security, and SEO principles.
• Knowledge of Git/version control systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience with headless WordPress setups (Next.js, React).
• Familiarity with cPanel, hosting, and website deployment.
• Basic graphic editing or UI/UX understanding.
