Job Title: WordPress Developer

Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Days: Monday to Saturday

We're looking for a talented WordPress Developer who is an expert in Page Speed Optimization and is comfortable working with popular website builders like Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, and more. Experience with Shopify is a plus!

Job Overview:

As a WordPress Developer at Hashtag Media, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining WordPress websites, ensuring seamless user experience and optimized design using modern website builders. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress architecture, website builders, and optimization techniques, ensuring every project delivers top-tier user experience and speed performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Design & Development: Build, design and redesign responsive, user-friendly websites using tools like Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, and other popular website builders.

Page Speed Optimization: Perform comprehensive audits of websites, implementing techniques like image compression, lazy loading, script optimization, and caching strategies to improve load times and overall site performance.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Use tools like Google PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, GTMetrix, Pingdom and others to monitor website performance and implement recommendations for improvement.

Collaboration: Work closely with SEO, back-end and graphic design teams to ensure optimized web pages.

Ongoing Improvements: Regularly update and refine websites to keep up with performance trends, user expectations, and SEO standards.

Cross-Platform Compatibility: Ensure websites are responsive, fast, and compatible across different browsers and devices.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in building, designing and redesigning WordPress websites using Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, or similar website builders.
• Proven experience in Page Speed Optimization.
• Ability to implement pagespeed optimization techniques with the help of cache plugins as well as manual coding techniques.
• Experience with Shopify optimizations and customizations is a plus.
• Expertise in performance tools such as Google PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, GTMetrix, Pingdom etc.
• Ability to debug performance issues and implement effective solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
