WordPress Developer

We are looking for a talented WordPress Developer ( Night Shift) with strong expertise in custom theme development, plugin development, and advanced customization. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in web development and a passion for creating efficient, user-friendly, and visually appealing WordPress websites. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress sites while ensuring optimal performance and seamless user experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom WordPress themes from scratch based on project needs.
• Build, maintain, and enhance custom WordPress plugins to implement complex functionalities.
• Perform theme and plugin customization, including custom post types, hooks, filters, and API integrations.
• Collaborate with designers to implement responsive and modern UI/UX.
• Use HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SCSS to build interactive and responsive front-end components.
• Optimize WordPress websites for performance, speed, and SEO using best practices.
• Manage databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, SQLite, or NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Work with version control systems such as Git and GitHub for efficient source code management.
• Participate in Agile processes such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and task tracking via Jira or Trello.
• Conduct thorough unit testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure high-quality outputs.
• Integrate and manage RESTful APIs and SOAP-based web services as required.
• Use Docker for containerization and contribute to deployment workflows.
• Stay updated with emerging WordPress trends, tools, and technologies for continuous skill improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in WordPress development, with a portfolio showcasing custom themes and plugins.
• Hands-on experience with WordPress customization including hooks, filters, templates, and advanced configurations.
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap, React, or Angular (preferred).
• Strong backend understanding with PHP and familiarity with Python, Ruby on Rails, or .NET (optional).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, application architecture, and DevOps practices.
• Experience working with MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, SQLite, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Docker-based development and deployment.
• Understanding of data visualization concepts and tools (optional).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and clean coding practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs140,000.00 per month
