A WordPress developer designs, builds, and maintains WordPress websites, creating custom themes and plugins using programming languages like PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Responsibilities include translating client requirements into functional sites, optimizing for speed and responsiveness, ensuring security, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with designers and other team members to deliver a high-quality user experience. Key Responsibilities

• Design and Development: Create custom WordPress themes and plugins, and develop new website features and functions.
• Front-end & Back-end Development: Write clean, responsive code in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and manage server integrations and database connections.
• Collaboration: Work closely with designers, content creators, and other stakeholders to ensure website designs align with business goals.
• Website Management: Perform ongoing maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting to ensure websites are functional, secure, and performant.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize websites for speed, responsiveness across devices, and overall user experience.
• Security & SEO: Implement security measures to protect websites and apply SEO best practices to improve search engine visibility.
• Integration: Integrate third-party applications, APIs, and other services to enhance website functionality.
• Testing: Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure cross-browser compatibility and a seamless user experience.

Essential Skills & Requirements

• Programming Languages: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• WordPress Expertise: Deep knowledge of the WordPress CMS, themes, and plugins.
• Front-end & Back-end: Experience in both front-end and back-end development.
• Responsive Design: Strong understanding of responsive web design principles for various devices.
• Databases: Familiarity with SQL and MySQL databases.
• Version Control: Basic knowledge of Git and other code versioning tools.
• Problem-Solving: Strong debugging and troubleshooting abilities.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team.
