Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced WordPress & WooCommerce Developer to join our in-house team in Dubai. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on building, customizing, and optimizing high-performance WordPress and WooCommerce websites.

The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise in eCommerce development, understands performance, security, and conversion optimization, and can work closely with designers and project managers to deliver scalable and commercially effective websites.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress & WooCommerce websites
• Build custom WordPress themes and WooCommerce templates
• Customize WooCommerce functionality, checkout flows, and product structures
• Develop and customize WordPress and WooCommerce plugins
• Integrate payment gateways, shipping methods, taxes, and eCommerce tools
• Optimize WooCommerce performance, speed, and scalability
• Ensure full responsiveness across all devices and browsers
• Implement SEO and structured data best practices
• Handle website security, updates, and backups
• Troubleshoot technical issues and performance bottlenecks
• Collaborate with designers to accurately implement UI/UX designs
• Maintain clean, secure, and well-documented code
• Support and improve existing client eCommerce websites

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in WordPress & WooCommerce development
• Proven experience building eCommerce websites using WooCommerce
• Advanced knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Experience with custom WooCommerce theme and template development
• Strong understanding of WooCommerce architecture and MySQL
• Experience with payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, local UAE gateways, etc.)
• Knowledge of WooCommerce performance optimization and security
• Experience with responsive and mobile-first development
• Familiarity with page builders such as Elementor or WPBakery

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a digital or eCommerce agency
• Experience with complex WooCommerce setups (variable products, subscriptions, bundles)
• Experience with third-party APIs, CRMs, and ERP integrations
• Basic knowledge of SEO, analytics, and conversion tracking
• Experience with hosting environments and server optimization

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
