Internship Overview

As a WordPress Developer at Xofts, you will work closely with our development and design team to assist in building, updating, and maintaining WordPress websites. This role is ideal for students or fresh graduates who want practical exposure to real-world WordPress projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and customizing WordPress websites
• Install, configure, and update WordPress themes and plugins
• Upload and manage website content (pages, posts, images, blogs)
• Support basic website maintenance, backups, and updates
• Help identify and fix minor website issues
• Ensure websites are responsive and user-friendly
• Coordinate with designers and senior developers as needed
• Follow best practices for website performance and security

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic understanding of WordPress CMS
• Familiarity with themes, plugins, and page builders (e.g. Elementor, WPBakery – a plus)
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS (JavaScript is a plus)
• Understanding of how websites work (hosting, domains, dashboards)
• Willingness to learn and take guidance
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Eligibility

Students or fresh graduates in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Candidates based in or able to commute to B-17, Islamabad
