WordPress Developer ( Backend)

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Backend Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites with a strong focus on backend functionality, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins
• Customize WordPress core functionalities based on project requirements
• Integrate third-party APIs and services
• Optimize website performance, speed, and scalability
• Ensure website security and data protection
• Manage databases and handle backend logic efficiently
• Fix bugs and provide ongoing technical support
• Collaborate with frontend developers and designers

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience with WordPress, PHP, and MySQL
• Knowledge of WordPress hooks, actions, and filters
• Experience with custom post types, taxonomies, and REST APIs
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (basic to intermediate)
• Understanding of website performance optimization and security best practices
• Experience with version control systems (Git preferred)
