About Us

The UAE China Chamber of Commerce promotes trade cooperation and cultural exchange between the UAE and China. We are seeking a skilled WordPress Website Developer & Designer to create and maintain our official website.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the Chamber’s official website using WordPress.
• Build and customize WordPress themes, plugins, and functionalities.
• Ensure responsive, user-friendly design that reflects the Chamber’s brand identity.
• Maintain server stability, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement security measures.
• Optimize website performance and SEO for better visibility.
• Collaborate with team members to keep content and features updated.

Requirements

• Proven experience with WordPress development and design (portfolio or project links required).
• Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
• PHP and MySQL knowledge for backend development.
• Experience with website security, hosting/server setup, and performance optimization.
• Ability to independently manage the full cycle of website design, development, and deployment.
• Preferred Languages: Excellent written and spoken English required. Ability to communicate in additional languages (such as Mandarin, Arabic, or Tagalog) is considered an advantage
