Job Overview:
Global E-Commerce Consultants (GEC) is seeking a talented WordPress Developer and Design Specialist with a strong aesthetic sense and proficiency in Figma to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing WordPress sites, a solid grasp of front-end technologies, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve WordPress errors. This role is perfect for someone who combines technical expertise with a keen eye for design.

Responsibilities:

• WordPress Development: Build, maintain, and optimize WordPress websites, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
• Front-End Development: Create and enhance user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks. Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Error Management: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve WordPress errors and issues to ensure smooth website functionality.
• Web Hosting Management: Manage web hosting environments, including setup, configuration, and maintenance. Ensure reliable and secure hosting for all websites.
• Design and Aesthetics: Utilize Figma to create and refine website designs, ensuring a visually appealing and user-friendly experience. Collaborate with the design team to implement aesthetic improvements.
• Customization and Plugins: Customize themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements. Develop and implement custom functionalities as needed.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize website performance, speed, and scalability to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to website functionality, performance, and security. Conduct thorough testing and debugging.
• Collaboration: Work closely with designers, project managers, and other team members to deliver projects on time and to client specifications.
• Updates and Maintenance: Regularly update WordPress core, themes, and plugins. Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure website stability and security.

Qualifications:

• Design, develop, and maintain professional WordPress websites.
• Customize themes and plugins according to project requirements.
• Manage hosting and domain setups, migrations, and DNS configurations.
• Troubleshoot website, hosting, and domain-related issues.
• Ensure website security, speed optimization, and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver projects on time.
• Regularly update WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
• Backup management and site recovery when needed.
• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer (at least 2-3 years preferred).
• Strong understanding of WordPress CMS, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with cPanel, WHM, or other hosting control panels.
• Knowledge of domain management, DNS, SSL, and email setup.
• Ability to create visually appealing, clean, and functional website layouts.
• Problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month
