WordPress Developer (Remote, ET Time Zone)

Overview:
We’re looking for a talented and detail-oriented WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress websites, with a strong focus on custom functionality, SEO, and integrations. You’ll collaborate closely with our design and content teams to deliver fast, reliable, and high-performing web experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain WordPress sites using best practices in performance, accessibility, and security.
• Build and customize forms using Gravity Forms, including conditional logic and API integrations.
• Work with GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
• Implement and optimize on-page SEO using Yoast SEO and related tools.
• Write and modify basic PHP for custom WordPress functionality and troubleshooting.
• Manage themes, plugins, and updates while maintaining site stability.
• Collaborate with designers and content teams to implement responsive layouts and features.
• Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets, with a strong understanding of formulas, data organization, and professional styling.
• Perform quality assurance testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer (2+ years preferred).
• Proficiency in WordPress, Gravity Forms, GitHub, and Yoast SEO.
• Working knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery) or custom Gutenberg blocks.
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday in the Eastern Time (ET) zone.
• Must have a personal computer and high-speed internet connection.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with custom post types, ACF, and WordPress REST API.
• Knowledge of website analytics and performance tools (e.g., GTmetrix, Google PageSpeed).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
