Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic WordPress Developer Intern with hands-on interest in frontend technologies and a basic understanding of backend development. This internship is ideal for candidates who want real-world experience in building, customizing, and optimizing WordPress websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and modern development practices.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites
• Work on frontend development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Customize WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements
• Convert UI/UX designs into responsive WordPress pages
• Upload, format, and manage website content (blogs, pages, images)
• Implement basic on-page SEO and SEO plugins
• Ensure website responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility, and performance
• Update and maintain WordPress core, themes, and plugins
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic frontend and backend issues
• Collaborate with design, backend, and marketing teams

Required Skills

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of WordPress CMS
• Strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Basic knowledge of PHP
• Understanding of WordPress themes and plugins
• Familiarity with responsive design principles
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt quickly
• Basic understanding of SEO concepts

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience with page builders such as Elementor, Gutenberg, or WPBakery
• Basic knowledge of backend concepts (databases, MySQL, APIs)
• Exposure to WooCommerce
• Understanding of website speed optimization techniques
• Awareness of basic website security practices
• Familiarity with Git or version control (optional)
