WordPress Developer (Mid level)

We’re looking for a WordPress Developer who has a solid grasp of custom WordPress development — not just themes and plugins, but also understanding of backend logic, API integrations, and performance optimization. You’ll collaborate with our design and backend teams to create secure, scalable, and visually appealing websites for a variety of clients and projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins
• Lead complex WordPress projects from concept to deployment
• Optimize website performance, security, and scalability
• Build custom Gutenberg blocks and advanced ACF-based solutions
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and CRMs
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and product teams
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance, security, and compatibility issues
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of hands-on WordPress development experience
• Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with custom theme & plugin development
• Deep understanding of WordPress core, hooks, actions, and filters
• Experience with Gutenberg block development
• Familiarity with ACF, WPML, WooCommerce
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs & AJAX
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Understanding of security best practices and performance optimization
• Experience working with Linux servers, cPanel, or cloud hosting

Pay: From Rs1.00 per hour
