WordPress Developer(Technical/AI-Based Website)

Job description:

We’re looking for a highly skilled WordPress Developer with hands-on experience in developing and integrating AI functionalities into WordPress-based websites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize custom WordPress websites with advanced functionality.
• Integrate AI tools, APIs, and services (such as OpenAI, ChatGPT, TensorFlow.js, or custom ML models) into WordPress websites.
• Work closely with UX/UI designers and backend developers to implement interactive and personalized AI-driven experiences.
• Customize WordPress themes and plugins or build new ones from scratch as needed.
• Ensure code quality, speed optimization, SEO best practices, and mobile responsiveness.
• Manage hosting environments, migrations, and deployment workflows.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Implement data collection strategies for AI components (user inputs, usage metrics, etc.).
• Stay current on new technologies, trends, and best practices in AI, WordPress, and web development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of WordPress development experience.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript (especially frameworks like React or Vue), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Proven experience working with AI-related features in websites (e.g., AI chatbots, recommendation engines, content generation, sentiment analysis, image recognition).
• Experience integrating AI APIs such as OpenAI (GPT-3/4), Google Cloud AI, Hugging Face, or similar.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and custom API development/integration.
• Familiarity with headless CMS architecture (e.g., using WordPress as a headless backend with React frontend) is a plus.
• Understanding of data privacy, ethical AI use, and security practices.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AI tools and platforms such as LangChain, Pinecone, or vector databases.
• Understanding of Machine Learning model basics and how they can be deployed/integrated into web apps.
• Experience working with WooCommerce or LMS platforms with AI-based personalization.
• Previous work on AI-powered SaaS platforms or content automation tools.
