WordPress Intern

Job description

We are seeking a talented and motivated WordPress Developer (Intern) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress and web development fundamentals. This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn and grow within a dynamic environment.

Timing: Monday - Friday (11:00 AM to 8:00 PM)

Location: On site (Lahore)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites and web applications
• Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements
• Designing and implementing new features and functionality according to the client’s requirement
• Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture
• Create and implement new website features using HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript.
• Ensure website performance, speed, and SEO optimization
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues.
• Collaborate with designers and other developers to create exceptional user experiences.

Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of WordPress architecture and core functionalities
• Understanding of front-end technologies, including JavaScript/CSS3/HTML5.
• Experience in Web Development (PHP, JavaScript) and custom theme development.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• A portfolio of previous WordPress projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with WooCommerce or other WordPress eCommerce platforms.
• Familiarity with other programming languages or frameworks.
• Experience with performance optimization and security best practices.
• Previous experience working in an Agile development environment.
