Position: Experienced Website Developer with WordPress & Shopify

Expertise

Salary: 25,000/- to 35,000/-

Location: Park Street (On-site/Remote)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the design and development teams to translate client

requirements into functional and visually appealing websites.

• Develop, customize, and maintain websites using WordPress and Shopify

platforms, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience.

• Create and modify custom themes, templates, and plugins to meet client

specifications and enhance website functionality.

• Perform regular updates, troubleshoot issues, and resolve bugs to ensure smooth website operations.

• Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to guarantee cross- browser compatibility, responsiveness, and usability.

• Optimize websites for speed, search engine optimization (SEO), and

accessibility, following best practices and industry standards.

• Assist in the integration of third-party tools, APIs, and extensions to

enhance website features and capabilities.

• Collaborate with the content team to ensure accurate and timely content

updates, including text, images, and multimedia elements.

• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams, addressing inquiries and resolving technical challenges effectively.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development, recommending improvements and innovations to enhance our services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in website development, with a strong portfolio showcasing WordPress and Shopify projects.

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and other relevant programming languages.

• Extensive experience with WordPress and Shopify, including theme and plugin development, customization, and management.

• Strong understanding of responsive design, mobile optimization, and user experience principles.

• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work within established deadlines.

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and address technical issues effectively.

• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and web hosting environments.

• Experience with ecommerce integrations, payment gateways, and online shopping functionality.
