WordPress & Shopify Store Designer Intern (Female)

Location: Wapda Town, Lahore (On-site)

Timings: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Stipend: PKR 20,000 / month

Job Overview

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy Store Design Intern to join our growing e-commerce team. This role is perfect for a recent graduate or a junior designer looking to gain hands-on experience in building high-converting online stores using WordPress and Shopify. You will work closely with our senior developers to launch, maintain, and optimize digital storefronts.

Key Responsibilities

• Store Setup: Assist in the end-to-end setup of Shopify and WordPress (WooCommerce) stores.
• Design & Customization: Customize themes, create visually appealing layouts, and ensure mobile responsiveness.
• Product Management: Upload products, write compelling descriptions, and organize categories/collections.
• App/Plugin Integration: Install and configure essential apps (Shopify) and plugins (WordPress) to enhance store functionality.
• Maintenance: Perform regular site updates and troubleshoot minor design or layout issues.
• Graphic Support: Create or resize web banners, icons, and product images (basic Canva or Photoshop skills are a plus).

Requirements & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent portfolio).
• Platform Knowledge: Basic understanding of the Shopify dashboard and WordPress/Elementor.
• Web Basics: Familiarity with HTML/CSS is highly preferred.
• Creativity: A strong eye for aesthetics, typography, and user experience (UX).
• Communication: Good written and verbal English skills for product listings and team collaboration.
• Punctuality: Ability to commit to the 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM shift.
