WordPress Web Designer & Developer

We are looking for a talented and passionate WordPress Designer & Developer with at least 6 months of hands-on experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both design and development, with the ability to create aesthetically pleasing and functional websites using WordPress. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their skillset in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop WordPress Websites: Create, maintain, and update WordPress websites that are both visually appealing and highly functional, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Custom Theme Development: Build custom WordPress themes based on client requirements, ensuring responsiveness and optimization for various devices.
• Plugin Customization: Install, configure, and customize plugins as needed to add new features and functionality to WordPress websites.
• Site Optimization: Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and performance to enhance user experience and search engine rankings.
• Collaborate with Clients & Team: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that align with their goals. Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to implement required changes.
• Troubleshooting and Debugging: Resolve any issues or bugs related to WordPress themes, plugins, or website functionality.
• Content Management: Assist clients with content updates, adding posts, pages, images, and other media.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: At least 6 months of hands-on experience designing and developing WordPress websites.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience working with WordPress themes, templates, and plugins.
• Design Skills: Strong understanding of web design principles and user experience (UX). Experience with design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, or Photoshop is a plus.
• Responsive Design: Ability to create mobile-friendly, responsive websites that work across various devices and browsers.
• SEO Knowledge: Basic understanding of SEO best practices for optimizing WordPress sites.
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git or other version control systems is an advantage.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on ensuring high-quality, bug-free work.

Bonus Skills (Optional but Beneficial):

• Experience with WooCommerce for eCommerce development.
• Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or similar.
• Knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
• Experience with website security and backups.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and other tracking tools.
