Work Order Dispatcher - JPM

Role Description

The Work Order Dispatcher - JPM is a full-time, on-site role based in Houston, TX. The role involves coordinating and dispatching work orders to the appropriate teams, ensuring schedules are maintained, and providing outstanding customer service. This position requires frequent communication with clients and internal staff to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure client satisfaction. The dispatcher will also manage documentation, billing and ensure timely follow-up on all work orders.


Schedule

  • 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM - Monday through Friday.
  • Some weekend coordination will be required.


Travel

  • Position may include some travel around the Greater Houston area but will be based at our office located at 3235 Fuqua Street, Houston, TX 77047.


Duties

  • Collect previous day dispatches and evaluate current work ticket status.
  • Assess and validate new work orders for distribution.
  • Coordinate daily dispatch operations, including technician routing, job assignment and schedule adjustments.
  • Keep clients up to date with schedule adjustments, lead times and completions.
  • Maintain accuracy of all job details, including reschedules, arrival windows, notes and follow-ups.
  • Order and procure material from suppliers and specialty vendors.
  • Coordinate outside resource material pick-up and deliveries utilizing Warehouse staff, equipment & trucks.
  • Manage and keep track of technician's time or projects for weekly reporting.
  • Capture technicians' hours, material & job cost to bill accordingly.
  • Provide Warehouse inventory distribution and accounting.
  • Provide assistance and support for emergency repairs.
  • Oversee Warehouse fleet services.


Qualifications

  • Bilingual is a plus.
  • General understanding of construction materials and procedures.
  • Ability to order and procure materials from suppliers.
  • Must be organized due to high volume of on going jobs.
  • Strong communication skills and professional Phone Etiquette with clients and employees.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly with field technicians via phone, text & email.
  • Commitment to delivering excellent Customer Service and fostering Customer Satisfaction.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience in scheduling and coordinating team tasks is a plus.
