Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Work Order Processor / Sales Order & Pick Order Processor to join our team in Denton, TX.

This position is responsible for processing customer purchase order information into sales orders and pick orders, supporting the order fulfillment process, and coordinating with the warehouse and internal teams to help ensure accurate and timely shipment preparation.

This role is more closely connected to daily operations and warehouse order flow. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow order processing steps accurately.

Key Responsibilities

Review customer purchase order information and related order details.

Create and process sales orders in the company’s ERP or order management system.

Create pick orders for warehouse fulfillment based on approved order information.

Verify product descriptions, quantities, part numbers, customer information, and shipping details.

Coordinate with warehouse staff to support accurate picking and order preparation.

Monitor order status and follow up on pending or incomplete order information.

Communicate with sales, warehouse, purchasing, and administrative teams to resolve order issues.

Help ensure that orders are properly prepared before shipment.

Maintain organized records of sales orders, pick orders, work orders, and related documentation.

Assist with daily operational support related to order processing and fulfillment.

Follow company procedures for order entry, documentation, and internal communication.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.

1–3 years of experience in order processing, sales order entry, warehouse support, logistics support, or administrative operations preferred.

Experience creating sales orders, work orders, pick tickets, or warehouse-related order documents is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Experience with ERP, inventory, or warehouse management systems is a plus.

Good organizational and time management skills.

Ability to manage multiple orders and follow up on pending tasks.

Good communication skills for coordinating with warehouse and internal teams.

Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
