WORK SHOP MANAGER

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced workshop manager with strong technical expertise and proven skill in floor management. The role requires hands-on knowledge of technical maintenance processes of specialized vehicles/heavy vehicles/heavy equipment's and effective coordination with corporate clients and government sector projects in Qatar. He should have the ability to drive operational efficiency while maintaining safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate should have minimum 5 to 8 years of experience overseeing workshop operations, managing teams, and ensuring high quality services delivery.

Responsibilities and authorities

• Plan daily activities of the workshop
• Oversee and manage the end-to-end activities of Workshop Department including People Management.
• Guiding in Costing Sheet preparation for import/Export items.
• Delivering Prompt / Professional solutions for customer Queries.
• Provide Technical Guidelines to Mechanical teams.
• Identify staff that require on-going training and implement training opportunities to ensure their skills are improved.
• Review customers service orders and inspect the quality of a technician repairs before the release of vehicles.
• Review work orders to ensure that all actions have been documented according to Service Workshop policies and procedures.
• Plan and prepare annual budget for the department, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions. Follow up closely for Achieving Budgets / Targets
• Ensure All Service jobs are accounted through Focus Software System.
• Succession Planning.
• Minimize Inventory holding through Parts Manager
• Support Quality Activities / initiatives of the Company
• All Other Responsibilities as and when required by the Management.
