What you’ll do

• Represent clients in workers' compensation claims, ensuring their rights are protected throughout the process.
• Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Neos to build strong cases.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements with precision and clarity.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Collaborate with colleagues on complex cases involving personal injury law.
• Stay updated on changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations to provide informed advice to clients.
• Participate in hearings and trials, presenting compelling arguments to support client claims.
• Maintain organized case files and ensure timely communication with clients regarding their cases.

Basic qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in workers' compensation law or related fields such as litigation.
• Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful settlements.
• Familiarity with litigation processes and experience representing clients in court.
• Excellent writing skills for effective legal drafting and communication.
