Attorney – Workers’ Compensation Defense (California)

Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in workers’ compensation proceedings.
- Conduct legal research, analyze complex issues, and draft legal documents.
- Attend hearings and depositions.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
- Manage time effectively while following established procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues, clients, and external parties at all levels.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the California State Bar.
- Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex legal issues.
- Client-focused, proactive, and comfortable with legal technology.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand at a desk for extended periods while using a computer.
- Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
- Ability to read printed materials and computer screens.
- Clear verbal communication in person and over the phone.
- Ability to move within an office environment and handle office equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
- Ability to travel to court as required.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year
