Working Site Supervisor

Prestige Building Company is seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our growing team. The Carpenter will be responsible for performing a variety of construction tasks on residential, commercial, and multifamily projects throughout the Hudson Valley.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily job site operations and coordinate field activities.
• Supervise laborers, carpenters, and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Perform hands-on construction work as needed, including carpentry, drywall, framing, punch list items, and general construction tasks.
• Review plans and communicate project requirements to field personnel.
• Monitor job progress and identify potential delays or issues before they impact the schedule.
• Coordinate material deliveries and ensure crews have the tools and resources needed to perform their work.
• Maintain job site safety, cleanliness, and organization.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets company standards and project specifications.
• Communicate daily progress, manpower needs, and job site issues with project management.
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating subcontractors to keep projects moving forward.

What We're Looking For:
A leader who is willing to work alongside the crew. This is not a sit-in-the-truck position. The ideal candidate can manage the job site, direct workers, solve problems, and jump in with tools when needed to keep the project on schedule.

Qualifications:

• Construction and carpentry experience required
• Ability to read plans preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
